MACEDON, Thessalonica. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Flavian Period, AD 69-96. Æ 21mm (8.28 g, 6h). Kabeiros standing facing, holding rhyton and hammer / Small eagle standing left, head right, above ethnic; all within oak wreath. Cf. Touratsoglou, Thessaloniki B.IV.1-9 (unlisted dies; “Zeit Vespasian”); RPC II 327; SNG Copenhagen -. Near VF, dark green surfaces, light roughness.
